HighWhat this is
Vector sits on top of SAP, ERP, Excel, and supplier data. It watches every part, finds shortages and risks, and tells planners what to do today. It does not replace your systems.
Built for supply chain leaders at hardware and manufacturing companies who have a real materials plan — and not a huge planning team.
Your next step is the pilot request. No ERP migration. Start with data you already have.
Sample output — this is the view a pilot produces from your planning data

HighWhat it does
After you request a pilot, this is the work the planner does on your data: shortages, POs, supplier risk, inventory, daily priorities, and questions in plain language. It is software, not a consulting engagement.
Continuously identify upcoming material shortages before they affect production.
Find orders that should be expedited, pushed out, cancelled, or reviewed.
Monitor supplier performance, missed commitments, lead-time drift, and recurring delivery issues.
Identify excess inventory, duplicate coverage, unnecessary purchases, and working-capital opportunities.
Turn thousands of ERP records into a short, ranked list of actions your team actually needs to take.
Ask natural-language questions across parts, suppliers, POs, and coverage — without another report build.
How it works
There is no rip-and-replace implementation. The platform works across the tools and processes companies already use. Pilots typically start with normal exports. APIs, database access, or approved browser and system automation can be added once the planning layer is proven on your data.
Existing systems
AI Supply Chain Layer
Vector normalizes planning data, applies your business rules, and continuously reasons over parts, POs, suppliers, and inventory — without replacing SAP, ERP, Excel, or supplier portals.
Actions
Sample output
The planner does not dump another MRP exception list. It ranks shortages, supplier slips, excess, and duplicate coverage so a materials manager can work the queue.

Human control
Companies define what the AI is allowed to do. Recommendations are auditable. The product does not take unsupervised actions during a pilot, and later automation stays inside explicit policies.
01
AI identifies the problem and recommends an action, with the source data and rule behind it.
02
A planner reviews the evidence and approves, dismisses, or investigates before anything moves.
03
Low-risk actions can later execute inside existing tools, only within policies the company defines.
Recommendation · PN-48271
Every recommendation includes the underlying data, reasoning, and business rule so planners can understand why an action was suggested.
Requirement on Sep 18 is uncovered. Supplier ETA is Oct 4. Inventory coverage is 42%. Recommended action: expedite 180 units. Confidence: high.
Planner decision
No change is written back to ERP until a planner approves it, or a later policy allows a bounded automatic action.
Capacity
Traditional planners spend much of their day searching through systems, reconciling spreadsheets, reviewing PO lines, chasing commitments, and determining which exceptions actually matter.
The AI planner handles the monitoring and first-pass analysis so humans can focus on decisions, supplier relationships, and true exceptions. It is a capacity layer — not a claim that the product replaces a planning team.

What to do next
You do not need to migrate ERP, buy software, or connect systems on day one. Request a pilot, send a normal export, and we show you what the AI finds in your supply chain.

Use the form on this page. Tell us your role, systems, part count, and the planning problem you want examined first.
02
POs, inventory, demand, supplier data, BOMs, and related planning files you already produce. We also capture your rules: horizons, buffers, and approval limits.
03
We return a ranked list of shortages, supplier risks, inventory issues, and recommended actions — on your data, not a generic demo.
No ERP replacement. Start with the data you already have.
Ideal customers
Vector is designed for small-to-mid-sized hardware and manufacturing companies — roughly 20–300 employees — with a real supply chain and a lean planning team. Typical buyers include Head of Supply Chain, Director of Supply Chain, COO, VP Operations, Materials Manager, and Procurement Manager.
Useful when the BOM is still moving and planning lives across spreadsheets, contract manufacturers, and a thin ERP setup.
Built for plants that already run MRP, but still rely on people to catch the exceptions that actually stop a line.
Long-lead actuators, controllers, and custom machined parts create shortage risk that is hard to watch manually.
Program changes, call-offs, and strict delivery windows leave little room for late visibility.
High part counts, allocation, and second-source decisions benefit from a ranked view instead of another spreadsheet.
Configure-to-order and spare-parts demand make coverage and excess harder to see in a standard ERP screen.
When every job is different, planners need a short list of true exceptions rather than another MRP exception dump.
Particularly useful where there are:
Security
A VP of Supply Chain should be able to bring IT into the conversation without a surprise. During pilots, you provide the data. Deeper system access is only used when you approve it.
Pilot data is used to configure and run your planning workspace. It is not a public training set, and it is not used to market results you did not authorize.
Access can be limited to the people you designate — typically supply chain, procurement, and operations leaders on the pilot.
Every suggested action keeps the underlying records, the business rule, and the reasoning so a planner can reconstruct why it appeared.
We do not claim SOC 2, ISO, or ERP-vendor certification here. Security reviews, data-handling terms, and connection method are scoped with each pilot.
If this looks useful on your data, request a pilot. That is the next step — send an export, then review a ranked action queue with us.
